Olympic Games: IOC yet to decide if boxing will be included at Los Angeles 2028

The International Olympic Committee has said it has not yet decided whether the boxer will compete in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

After the IOC board meeting, the federation said it would “discuss” the inclusion of the sport at a later date.

An independent study has found that sport needs to address ethical issues to secure the future of the Olympics.

A joint report released Monday found a “historic culture of war manipulation,” including the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The International Olympic Committee has said it will not allow the International Boxing Association to organize the boxing event in Paris 2024 or the qualifiers for these games – repeating a similar decision ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.

“The decision focuses on athletes and the need to identify Olympic competitions and qualifications from Paris 2024,” the statement said.

“The government is conducting ongoing and very disturbing issues with the Broadcasting Authority, such as the arbitration and scoring system.”

The number of women’s events at the 2026 Olympics will reach an all-time high

The council also approved the project for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Cortina, Milan.

The event includes 50 standard women’s events. Also, it will have the highest women’s participation rate of any Winter Olympics, with 47 percent.

The changes include three mountaineering events, a new Olympic sport that includes ups and downs of a single event.

There will also be mixed group events, women’s doubles and singles bobsleigh men’s singles competitions. Moreover, freestyle for men and women and hill climbing in women’s singles.
