The future of winger Pedro Neto, who has been linked to a transfer, was updated by Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Bruno Lage on Tuesday.

Naturally, over the past 48 hours, the name of Portuguese international Neto has gained attention.

This comes after one of Wolves’ Premier League rivals named the 22-year-old as one of their top transfer targets.

The attire under discussion? Arsenal.

The authorities on the red side of north London have reportedly turned their focus to Neto as a potential challenger for first-choice combination Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in the midst of their continuous search for reinforcements elsewhere.

Additionally, it is believed that discussions with the influential parties at Molineux have been ongoing for more than a month.
