On Thursday, a video featuring Real Madrid president Florentino Perez drew great attention online.

This comes after the Spanish owner was questioned about Cristiano Ronaldo’s chances of making a stunning comeback to the Bernabeu.

Of course, Ronaldo’s future remains a major topic of discussion in the European media.

This comes despite the fact that the Portuguese international has long expressed his wish to leave Manchester United to the club’s powers that be, he is still a Red Devils player as things stand.

In consequence, speculation over where Ronaldo would end up next has resurfaced, with the summer transfer window closing in just a few weeks.

The aforementioned Real Madrid is one such destination that has been loosely tipped in the media.

Ronaldo, of course, had a spectacular and trophy-laden spell in Spain’s capital before leaving for Juventus in the summer of 2018.

However, a return to the Bernabeu does not appear to be an option for the veteran hitman.

This comes after Florentino Perez all but ruled out a Real Madrid swoop late Thursday evening.

During a conversation with a Blancos fan, the club’s legendary president was drawn to the possibility of CR7 returning to Madrid for the upcoming season.

Perez, on the other hand, quickly poured cold water on such an idea, responding:
