A ‘ONE STEP AWAY’ FROM PREMIER LEAGUE MOVE FIGHT BETWEEN WEST HAM AND NEWCASTLE IS SET TO TAKE PLACE.
sssArnaut Danjuma, a forward for Villareal, is expected to be transferred in the coming days, and West Ham and Newcastle are expected to compete for his services.
The Dutchman had a productive season last year under former Arsenal manager Unai Emery, scoring 10 goals and collecting three assists in 23 La Liga outings. He is a flexible forward who can play on either flank or through the centre.
Additionally, Danjuma is rumoured to have a release provision in his current contract in Spain that might allow him to go for about £40 million this summer. Danjuma has previously stated that he had “unfinished business” in England.
West Ham are progressing in talks with Villarreal to sign Danjuma. Work in progress for bit less than €45m, West Ham want him to be one of their statement signings. Personal terms, not discussed yet. 🚨🇪🇸 #WHUFC

Newcastle is behind West Ham.
Newcastle currently appears to have the upper hand, but that might all change today that the Magpies have finalised a deal for fellow countryman Sven Botman.
The price put on the head of French prodigy Moussa Diaby this summer has scared them away, and they too need cover in the wide areas if they are to add quality in the final third.
✍️ Newcastle United have agreed a deal in principle with LOSC Lille to sign Dutch defender Sven Botman for an undisclosed fee!

There is still time for Eddie Howe and company, or perhaps other teams, to come in and grab him away from David Moyes’s side if they so choose, even though a fee with West Ham is almost ready to be agreed upon.
